V. Naudužas: French helped me in my diplomatic work — even in Sweden

Ambassador Vytautas Naudužas recalls that when he arrived in Paris to serve as the embassy’s economic counselor, Lithuania was not entirely unknown in France. In his view, the groundwork laid by pre-war Lithuanian diplomats played a major role in enabling the French president to visit Lithuania as early as 1992.
